… till I can finally start packing my bags and escape the disgrace that is called English summer. We are off to LA for 10 days and I am so excited. There are so many things I want to do and see… with shopping being the number one on my list of priorities. Clothes and make-up are just so much cheaper out in America, I just have to take advantage of that!
But before I can even start thinking about shopping and soaking up the sun, I need to think about the different basics I want to take with me and most importantly what I will be wearing during the long flight. A 12 hour flight means I need to be comfortable and all cosy. Being used to traveling (thanks to one half of my family living in Australia) I think I pretty much have the in-flight look down to a t. I always make sure I carry my moisturising cream as well as facial cleanser with me to keep my skin well hydrated. I have put together my top list of flight comfort, cardigan - Rick Owens, leggings - Splendid, tee - Nation LTD, sneakers - Superga, scarf - Phillip Lim, Nivea cream, Creme de la mer cream and mist, Balenciaga Giant Day.
So, dear readers if you are based in LA, please send any shopping recommendations and city tips my way! Thanks xo
… the Rachel Zoe project… unwanted attention? Yeah right!

Swedish brand Acne have revealed their new line, called New Standard. The new line impresses with sharp and casual boyish looks. Jonny Johansson, the Creative director found inspiration for the latest collection on the streets of New York: “One morning not too long ago I was walking through New York’s Tribeca as the city was waking up. Coming towards me I saw a young woman cycling resolutely on some kind of racing bike. She was dressed in the greatest way. Effortlessly mixing a formal suit jacket with sporty leggings and cycling shoes, she wore her heavy bike chain as well as a sober leather bag around her chest.”

Wang will be launching his first footwear collection as well as a cotton only tee collection priced at just $28 a pop. Expect his shoe collection to be ‘aggressively sexy’ as the designer puts it. Prices start at $125 and range to $250. The collection consists of perforated leather booties to heels with fringe detail. Sounds like we have an exciting SS09 coming up.
