New YSL FW09.10 campaign, with Christy Turlington photographed by Inez Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Looks like Pilati is sticking to his concept of shooting campaigns with supermodels, first Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, then Claudia Schiffer, now Christy Turlington. Any bets on LInda Evangelista being in the next YSL campaign? Kathrinxo
Here we have it - Finally! The trailer of the Anna Wintour documentary, ‘The September Issue’ has just been released on YouTube. Not quite sure when this movie is out, but I am really looking forward to seeing it. The documentary is about taking a look behind those Wintour shades and getting a glimpse of the enormous amount of work and stress that go into Vogue’s biggest issue of the year! I have a feeling this may be a tad bitchier than “The Devil wears Prada”. Gotta love it!!! Kxo
Übercool Dree Hemingway showing off her stylish apartment in the July’09 issue of Japanese magazine SPUR.
I really adore Dree’s eclectic mix of jewelry and creative mess in her wardrobe - well basically all over her flat. A girl after my own heart!
Hope everyone had a great start to the week!!! Kathrinxo
Finally had my hair trimmed yesterday, it was much needed. I last had my hair done just before xmas. As you can all see, I decided to go for a fringe. Must say I kind of feel like Mortitia Adams.. it’s not like I have never had a fringe before, but it takes some time getting used to the new look. Once the fringe starts growing a little, it will look better… I hope ^-^
At least my new haircut is the perfect excuse to put up a much promised outfit post. With the weather being sooo horribly sticky and muggy, it was a challenge to get ready for the day. I ended up wearing this Topshop jumpsuit, Vintage Ralph Lauren blazer via Fashiontoast from a while back and cage sandals, which my sister refers to as orthopedic granny shoes.
Hope everyone has a great start to the new week. Much love,
I really love Vogue Nippon, their editorials are always so different. How stunning is Freja Beha in this spread? The attention to detail is really breath taking.
Yay to the end of the week. Looks like it will be a miserable weekend filled with tons of rain But I have great things planned, like getting my hair cut and meeting with old friends. Don’t think I will be going crazy in terms of hair, but was thinking about having a fringe cut.. not sure though, as there is no way back, especially with the length of my hair. We shall see… Kathrinxo
What a great weekend it has been. I made my first REAL REAL cake (meaning an actual cake with no packet cake cheating) and it was a total success, with only one slice left!
How lazy I have been on the blog front, will be posting some outfit posts this week.. PROMISE! Have to go and sneak that last slice of blueberry cheese!!!xo
Friday.. Finally! So looking fwd to the weekend.. feels like I never had an actual weekend last week. My friends hen do was so much fun, but I have been dragging the hen do - tiredness round with me ALL week, looking forward to a quiet weekend. Posting has been majorly slow this week, I lie, there has not been one single post. Blame it on the tiredness
Have a great weekend everyone… new outfit posts coming up, looong overdue. Peace & Love to you guys. xo
